Summer is Now in Session

2020 Summer Arts Camps (CANCELED DUE TO COVID-19)

Make your child’s summer a BLAST!

 

Providence School of Arts provides a fun and engaging experience for children during the summer months. This program encourages students to utilize their God given gifts of creativity as a form of communication. Students are exposed to the different Fine and Performing Art disciplines: Music, Visual Art, Dance, and Theater.  This program offers positive experiences for children ages 3-11.

Young Artist Camp (Ages 7-11)

The Lion King Jr.

 

July 20, 2020 – August 1, 2020
Monday-Friday 8:30am – 12:30pm

 

Children in the program will engage in all of the different Fine and Performing Arts of Music, Dance, Visual Art, and Drama in preparation for their stage performances of The Lion King Jr.. Students will learn how to design and build sets and costumes, develop individual characters, memorize choreography, and will learn how to make music as an ensemble. This program is taught by highly experienced teachers and performing arts professionals. This will be an experience your child will not want to miss!

Children in this program will explore African culture through the Lion King Jr. Experience. Your child will learn African rhythms, language, and movement as they learn and experience excerpts from the Broadway hit musical, the Lion King. To conclude their experience, your child will take am epic journey to pride rock as fight to save the pride lands. Your child will be all smiles when they conclude this camp.
